Derek Jeter deserves the MVP award this year. I have a lot of respect for a player that can hit so consistently and play quality defense.

Derek Jeter definitely deserves the MVP he is arguably one of the best shortstops of all time. It is very difficult for a DH to win MVP.

Sorry.....Justin Morneau is the man....Jeter didn't do all that well this season apart from batting average! Morneau played a big part of the Twins getting back in the race and winning the Central division!!

Jeter should get it for the decade but not this year. How can you be on a team with that much talent and lose in round 1. Silly as it sounds I would go with Frank Thomas for pulling a home run streak when the A's needed it most.

No way! The mvp should come from a team that made it to the world series!

Georgie, I'm proud of you!! This is Derek's year. Tiger's looked good last night. Rogers was awesome. Carpenter tomorrow; if they can beat him the series may only go six. We'll keep our fingers crossed!!
