Maybe some color safe bleach like Clorox 2 or the Oxy 10 powder you can put in the wash (great for carpets too dilute & add in your machine) If you use bleach (and it will turn white!), you can always tea stain it back to the off white color by using those cheap dollar store tea bags. Just boil them and put them in a big bucket or dishpan with just enough water to submerge your bag or garment. Let in soak overnight. I did my wedding dress like that it was stark white when I got done it look antique.

depends what it's made out of. Is it off white leather or off white cotton or off white bunny fur?

Try diluted bleach.
