The best thing to do after an injury is R.I.C.E. = Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. If, after 24 hours, the injury is still throbbing and hurts when you walk, you need to get it looked at. If there isnt a facture or broken bone, you dont need crutches and they would probably make it harder at school anyways. My suggestion is to tell your parents that your ankle still hurts a lot and you think you need a doctor to take a look at it. Hope it feels better soon.

Did your parents think it necessary to take you to the doctor?? If the injury isn't severe it is best not to baby your ankle to much. Sometimes it is best to stretch it out. Is it wrapped?? Maybe ask your parents to give you some Motrin if you are in any pain.

All kids want crutches, even I did as a kid, but sorry I don't think your parents are going to buy expensive crutches unless the doctor said to.

I think you should come out and tell them that you think you need them. or keep saying things like, oh i'd be able to walk faster if I had some crutches. or i think crutches would help me walk better. Just open the lines of communication and tell them how you feel, you'll feel better in the end

Crutches are a very good option, other than the fact that you would have to wear you backpack around school the whole day or someone would have to carry your books for you.

ok... crutches would be good. to ask your parents just tell them that it really hurts to walk at school and it is hard to get around, so you think it would be better for you to have crutches (and you would heal faster).

A wheelchair would work too. Just tell your parents that your ankle is really hurting and you want to stay off them so it can heal.

Weeeellllll I think that you sould try doingcruches right before bed and just tell your mom/dad that your ankle is bothering you. ask them to wright some notes to your teacher(s) about your ankle and go to the doctor.

Tell them what you've told us. You might also try an ace bandage on the ankle
