I need to know the best way to drop an egg 2 stories

big box
panty hose
staples or something else to secure the hose
1 egg
put egg inside leg of panty hose
tie both ends of panty hose in knot at egg (on both ends of egg - so it wont go down length of panty hose)
then-two small holes on opposite sides of box
put one end of panty hose through hole in box and secure with many staples or what ever you decide to secure it with (don't use just a knot because it may pull through hole)
pull other end of hose through other hole in box and pull somewhat tight and secure that side also
climb and drop

We had a student put an egg into a jar of peanut butter. That worked.

build it like the mars rover.
roll up a bunch of paper and tape it around the egg, then attach a paper parachute, and it should be unharmed if u did it right.
