A couple of weeks ago I asked a question about a movie my sister and I use to watch as kids. It was about a boy who stumbled into a often dark, but magical world. I believe he got to the world through a golden apple....I THINK. This apple was given to him by some old hag off the street in the real world. Anyways, he ended uo getting a cloak that would turn him invisible when he would throw it over his body. He also got a sword that took a hundred years to forge by this guy who was a slave blacksmith to the main bad guy in the movie. He also forged swords for the bad guy. This sword, which took so long to forge, was the only sword in existence that would pierce the bad dude's stone heart. Anyways, he saves the day and all is well. WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS MOVIE!!!!! HELP!!!! My brain hurts from trying to figure it out.

THE THIEF OF BAGDAD - 1924

or

The Thief of Bagdad (1940)

A story with the theme ‘happiness must be earned’ focuses on a common thief who falls in love with a princess, and this love motivates him to change his ways in order to win the princess.
But first he has to prove himself worthy, and this leads him on a fantastic adventure through a valley of fire, a cavern of enchanted trees, to a citadel of the moon which he reaches on a winged horse, and finally a cloak of invisibility which hides the greatest magic of all. As if this were not enough to enchant the audience, there is also the traditional flying carpet, a golden apple that restores life and health, and an all-seeing crystal ball to stir and inspire even the dullest imagination!
