look for chew marks, poop and pee, they like small places and if they can get their head through they can get in the smallest holes
watch your feet, you might step on him

Check behind your fridge thats where my hamster was.. also watch your cat if you see he/she staring at one spot unsually its probably somewhere where the cat cant get it. Turn off ur fridge & dont use dishwasher, dryer, or clothers washer until you find it.. They like to hide in dangerous places.

Um this cat you got.........it wasnt by any chance about 8 foot long with a mane.........if so it isnt hard to figure out where the hamster is

Try looking in tiny spaces like under/inside the sink, and under the bed. also try to put food and nest making stuff in clear sight.

check near the hamster cage.And why the hell did you get a cat for when you knew you had a hamster.Dont make any sense at all.Maybe the cat ate it.

He getting drunk with the mice in the attic. Look around the Heating Duct, they use it to go to the Kitchen for snacks and more cold beer. Heck, speaking of cold beer, I think I go get me one. BRB.

check your fire!!! i would leave bits of food in each corner of the room as thats where hamster go straight to the walls!
i would also look for chewing marks in furnitue ect!
