The frequency is equal to the speed of light divided by the wavelength. ν = c / λ
For example: If the wavelength = 408 nm (= 4.08x10-7 m) and the speed of light = 3.00x108 m/sec, then the frequency = 3.00x108 / 4.08x10-7 = 7.35x1014 / sec
