He was pressuring Clarke,so he'd break the partnership between him and Gillcrest,he knows that sledging wouldn't work on Gillcrest because he's the more experienced player between the two, to that guy Punjabi...... something,people from the Caribbean speak fluent English.!Lara wouldn't personally resort to Sledging,but as a Captain would tell his Bowlers,or Fielders to give the Batsman a ear full!
