you should wear what you want to wear, if you can still wear these things and your daughters think you look good then go for it. if your daughters had a problem with the way you looked they would tell you and if those others want to look dated and like their mums then thats their choice. no one is wrong, just do what makes you happy. im behind you 100%

I always believe in dressing your age. I don't mean to look like a "mother"! I mean you can dress as modern as possible but aim for a more classic look. Like no mini skirts or hooker shoes or tops that are too low cut or accessories that are too loud. You don't need revealing clothes to show how good your body looks. You just need the right fitting clothes to accent your great curves!

I am 55 and also size ten! I usually have to buy kids clothes though as adult sizes are too big for me. My attitude is, wear what I feel comfortable in, colours and styles that suit me and if people dont like it so what! I dont wear mini skirts or name brand clothes or something obviously Childish except for night wear I'm a sucker for cute tops and shorts! No flannelette long nighties for me thanks!
Stop worrying and enjoy life!
It's not what you wear but who you are and if your kids approve you cant be going too far!

Just be yourself and wear what YOU feel comfortable in. If your daughters think you look great listen to them because they wouldnt let their mum dress like a nuggett...if you have got a nice figure show it off. 50 is the new 40.

Patricia, I turned 50, 7 months ago,and wouldnt dream of not wearing clothes I like..
Most days I wear grey or blue jeans, with a white short sleeved T-shirt, and my gorgeous 30 yr. old Girlfriend (of more than 2 yrs. standing..so far) absolutely loves me in them.
I swear on my kids lives..
So you go girl.. wear what YOU want to.. and stuff the rest..
Hope that helps..
Take Care.. Mark..

I'm only 20 years old but I think it sounds great that you wear modern clothes & try to look nice. Nothing wrong with that. It sounds like you've done very well taking care of yourself & I'm sure you look great. Good luck with all of that!

YES! I'm 49 - still cute - you know the key, don't dress like you're 18. There are sexy clothes that have a little class and if you're the size to wear them, go for it. I feel ya on the friends looking like our mothers... YECH - shoot me if I act like that!

As long as you don't look like mutton dressed as lamb you should wear what you want. If you look good in it then why should your age be a factor. I'd love to have a figure like yours NOW, let alone when I reach 50.

You can still wear trendy clothes at your age. Just because you reach a certain age doesn't mean you have to revert to the old lady uniform
