Yes.

In fact you don't even have to go as far as string theory to say we are all made of waves. Wave-Particle duality theory did that at the beginning of the twentieth century.

Have a look at the "Photoelectric Effect" if you're interested and don't want to delve into string theory.

String Theory uses one dimentional strings as oposed to zero dimentional points of the Standard Model.

However, it has been proven that waves can sometimes act like particles and particles can sometimes act like waves.

Well that’s a very good question. Our brain is made up neurons which have frequency of Sin waves and our heart also has a frequency of a wave. Nature seems to be telling as that our whole body is made up of waves. If the universe is made up of waves it’s plausible that we might made up of waves; since we are made up dust of the universe.

The body is made of atoms and molecules but alas, we are not these bodies ("Aham brahmasmi"). Same holds true for string theory. See Bhagavad-gita As It Is.

String theory claims that all matter is made of one-dimensional 'strings' which vibrate. Since we are made of matter, then yes, it is talking about the stuff we are made of.
