Hopefully this is clear enough, but if not please ask me. When i click on a link to go to another webpage, a clicking sound comes on everytime. I know there is a way to turn it off...I just don't know how. Thanks!

I'm listening to music, yes the obvious answer is to turn the volume down, but I'd like to turn the click OFF.

If you're running XP, Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices.

Click on Sounds and Audio Devices, then go to the Sounds tab

Under "Program Events" scroll down until you find "Windows Explorer" then scroll down a little bit more until you see "Start Navigation". Highlight that, then look below where you'll see a drop menu that says "Windows XP Start."

Change that to (None) and Apply the changes.

I believe that if you open you volume control, you can lower the volume of the windows sounds without lowering the cd player volume level.
