It can be an entire scene or just a shot from any series (not a movie). Something that just burned itself in your brain and won't leave. But remember to describe it well because a lot of us will not have seen the particular scene you're describing.

Many many to choose from but I'll pick a very moving scene

Fushigi Yuugi OVA 2 Chapter 2

Emperor Hotohori's ghost is looking down at his wife, Empress Houki and son, Crown Prince Boushin. As a child, Boushin can sence Hotohori in the room and toddles over to hug him...and falls right through his ghost and onto the floor...where he promptly starts crying..further breaking Hotohori's heart even more. Moved to tears, Taka/Tamahome *who is alive* begs Hotohori's ghost to pocess his body, allowing him to pick up Boushin. You see, Hotohori was killed by Nakago *BOO HISS!!!* before Boushin was even born..he never got to hold his only child. SNIFF!!!!! SNIFF!!!!!! I always cry when I see this scene

The last episode of Full Metal Alchemist really got me. Before this, Ed dances with Rose.Ed gets in the door he has seen before, Gludnie(not sure of spelling) learns what happened to Lust by Ed,and Al is found out to be the key to the philosopher's stone. Ed learns that his father has ben stuck in a parallel universe ,which is ours, and he did try to go back , but is now bound forever in this world he has found. He tells Ed he's seen an event that will happen once he leaves(an explosion like the Hindenburg).Ed is in the middle of the crash and trys alchemy to get out of the situation it doesn't work. Later Wrath tells Donate he needs the philosopher's stone to help his (adoptive) mother(her name is Sloth. Created by Ed and Al). Donate chooses to remove his(Ed's)alchemical arm and I think leg as well by the powers of the door. this time it doesn't go away. Ed is seen coming throe the door and has a last Battle with Envy. She transformed into the Elrics' father to strike Ed in the chest, close to where his heart is. the last words are said from Rose crying out "Edward". (this might not be in order) You should see the movie to get a better ending.

Ruroni Kenshin.... When Himura Kenshin faces off against the "Sword Hunter Cho" (the guy Sano calls "Broomhead"). Kenshin is without his reverse-bladed sword (his sakabato) which was broken and is given a "godsword" which is the last sword of a master swordsmith. This swordsmith's weapons were renowned for their killing ability. (He also forged Kenshin's sakabato). Kenshin, in order to save a child from death, must take this new blade and kill Cho... reverting to his Hitokiri ways forever. It is no choice and Himura draws, ruthlessly cutting Cho down.
What struck me was how brutal Kenshin is. How he was willing to throw away his vow for the life of an innocent... condemning himself to be a soulless killer.

(Almost immediately it is revealed that the swordsmith's final blade was a superior sakabato, the better half of Kenshin's)

From the movie "Project A-Ko"

About midway through the movie, after supergenius B-Ko has dealt with defeat after defeat, all of her prized robotic creations destroyed by her super-powered classmate & rival, A-Ko.

She shows up for school wearing this skimpy little battlesuit and proceeds to put a serious BEAT DOWN on A-Ko!! The look on A-Ko's face when B-Ko unleashes wrist-fired missiles was priceless. It's one of the best anime fights ever!!

the scene that just burn it self in my brain is when kouga first decides to make Kagome his woman. It was after shippou change into kouga and tried to free him and kagome. But a wolf bit him in the tail. Well they got as far as the wolf dens and she throw shippou to safety of a cliff. He turn into a big pink floating thin but kagome was left behind. One of the Wolf demon was going to kill he but Kouga was watching and he saw how she sacrifice herself and deemed her loyal and his woman for all time. He also saved he from getting killed by one of the other wolf demons by throwing a boar at him.
