I have had about three or four different men ask me this over the last few years---one of them was just being a genuine friend because he heard we were having trouble and wanted to help (he was friends with both of us)---now a couple of others asked, I said fine because I didn't want to discuss our problems with them and they said that wasn't what they heard and one made references as to when my husband and I get divorced I should give them a call and the other just offered himself then..in both cases, I told them to get lost. Be careful...there are some decent guys out there who truly care but alot more who are trying to come between you and your other half!

It means they are trying to pry their way into your business, in which u should respond "just great" . Of course this depends too if the one asking is a good friend of yours then they are probably just genuinely concerned with your situation.

He is a dog looking for a bone. In other words he is looking for a weak spot in your marriage to see if he can sneak in get some @ss and run, because it will be another man's responsibility to pick up the pieces. Tell him to sniff his nose somewhere else.

It could mean his concern is genuine & he wants to know that things are going well for you & your other half... or... it could mean he's interested in you for himself & wants to know if things aren't going well so he can have a relationship with you.

It means you should say fine thanks and walk away. If you are looking to see if he is interested in you then that means you are interested in the possibilityof him being interested in you. And, that means, your relationship is in the toilet or headed there and you should be talking to your other half just about as soon as you can get call through to him.

They are asking how both you and your partner are doing. Or they may be fishing to see if you are unhappy and want to fool around. They are predators and need to be set straight.
