Is there a lot of traffic in Fort Worth/Dallas area?

I live in California...We are thinking of moving to Fort Worth/Dallas.. I have heard that some of you say that there is a traffice problem in Ft Worth/Dallas.. Really?
Compared to Los Angeles? We live in Los Angeles and the traffice is horrible. It takes like 45 minutes to make it to 12 miles.

traffic can be horrible in dallas and fort worth. this is all dependant on where you live and where you work and everywhere else you need to get to. in general, i find traffic is only bad during work-rush hours, an accident and if they are doing construction. in all, i have never had too many difficulties if i am trying to get somewhere at times other than the rush hours. i could make it from northeast fort worth to mid-dallas in less than 30 minutes. plus, once you figure out where you are going, there are generally a lot of options for getting there. fort worth definately has less traffic than dallas. if you think of moving here and are worried about traffic, try to pick a well-established neighborhood. the ones that have lots of room to grow still will be horrible with traffic in the years to come. also, try to have your work and home as near as possible, it will alleviate some of the stress.

i live in houston now, so i know what it is like to take forever to get somewhere!

Yes traffic is a problem in Dallas u have to find your way and eventually get use to it

Horrible. You have named 2 of the quickest developing locations in North Texas (Keller/Frisco). The roads are unfinished and can be insufficient whilst they're completed. For a tight travel you're watching at 15 years till the roads are performed and by way of then the populace can be astronomical. Your plan to reside in Keller and paintings in Frisco is horrendous. Change it.

The traffic can be bad here but I'm sure it is not as bad as L.A. It certainly can't be any worse.
