I seriously don't know anyone who likes automatic toilets. They always flush when you're on them and they never flush when you need them to. It can't be because of avoiding germs because you have to touch the lock on the door, and the toilet and the lock have the same germs.

So I don't get it; they're more expensive and no one likes them, what's the point? And what could make them better?

I agree 100%. I can't stand them! I can't believe it is very healthy for you to be sitting on a toilet that keeps on flushing and spreading germs when your face is three feet above it. I have one such toilet in my place of work and avoid it if at all possible and use a different one. Sometimes advances in technology are uncessesary and annoying. Nothing wrong with pushing a handle down to flush a toilet.

regrettably many human beings do not flush the lavatory. I presume really because they are germaphobes and do not opt to the contact the button, or they in basic terms do in basic terms not care. no longer in difficulty-free words that yet at the same time as it includes urinals i wager between the 5 adult males taking a leak might want to ought to tug the chain. What in the journey that all of them presume the perfect will do it, yet before the perfect is carried out extra ppl are available on a hectic day? as a outcome of no flushing, extra time is necessary to sparkling and subsequently extra labor and resources necessary and extra money spent. regardless of this I do agree: heavily? How fkn demanding is it to push a button human beings?

There are many, many people that simply do not flush the toilet after use, or put too much paper into the bowl thus provoking it to clog. Therefore, these automatic toilets flush at a certain interval to avoid over clogging and also to "assist" the absentminded users when they forget to flush.
