Wow...thoughtful question as i love Autumn.....I was going to say crimson...but the colour deep royal and regal purple have to climax all of them. The ranges between the weeping green to yellow to orange to burnt sienna to a moth like variation of purple all have their exceptional beauty......though my answer stands.
Hands down on "Deep Royal & Regal Purple"...I am reminded of the warmth against the biting wind..knowing it is a great time of year to huddle with someone while walking, listening the the cruching sounds of the leaves underneath my feet...tha a true Thanksgiving is always in my heart...I just have to reach in there.....and the leaf colour? well that is ambiance.....the world ina dormant state of renewal...something we can only bear witness to in terms of weather and changes in the trees....it has an effect upon people too and I think the best comes out of everyone ..the truth of them in this time of year....what a thoughtful question........I am remindied of many Autumns past and the changes that ensued.......life changing and me on the precipice each time.......lovely. In japan it is the season , unlike anywhere else, to marry for just this reason!
Also I am as a Writier, more inspired to write atthis time of year......
