If you are looking for an all-inclusive property the most affordable ones are going to be at Dominican Republic. If you are willing to spend some more check out Sandals (there is one in almost every Caribbean island), and if you can spend some more Sol Melia Paradisus in Puerto Rico is gorgeous. Just remember, if you go to Dominican Republic it is not safe to leave hotel property and the airfare can be expensive. Also, if you are going to need more than 10 rooms you can contact the hotel and they can give or create for you a group rate. Also, do not obsess with the all-inclusive idea, because sometimes it's kind of hard to find the prices we are looking for. Just remember to find a beautiful scenario for your wedding and the rest will be just fine. It's your day and don't choose your destination based on others, think about what you want! Congratulations!

Congratulations saeric! I work for a 5-Star catering company(going on 8 years now) and I would suggest looking into some local catering services. Ours is "full circle" IE; meaning we provide everything, from accomodations, food, flowers, cake, music, Limo service etc. We have "created" an island atmosphere close to our "clients" homes. There are many locales that rent out their home, facility, properties etc. This would be far less expensive for family and friends, not to mention you and your fiancee'. Unless you really had your hearts set on traveling abroad, I would highly recommend this wonderful alternative. Best Wishes to you both! XOXO Moonpie P.S. I wish I knew where you lived, I'd give you our e-mail address and phone number...LOL!

We got married in St.Thomas USVI - it's beautiful there and the best part is...because it is part of the US, the marriage certificate is valid elsewhere. I live in Canada and we have never had a problem here with our certificate. My friend who got married in the Dominican does have difficulty at times.
Good luck and congrats!
