I have know a small amount of people like them in my life. I really envy them as my emotions are like a roller coaster like most people. No, I am not manic depressive or bi-polar. But when I am pissed I cannot hide it. But I do get over it quite fast after I vent.

You are normal and normal is a relative term. Some people are naturally disposed to be more "happy", but even they could be considered sad in another environment. As a Cancer, I go in my shell when I am mad. So-called happy people let things go (or so we think) or are able to suppress things better.

It is all about the attitude you choose to have. Your attitude can be the difference of having a happy fulfilling life, or a lousy one. Be an optimist. Notice something beautiful about the world around you every day! Pick out a good quality in every person you encounter, instead of focusing on the negative qualities. Before you start each day, listen to a comedy CD. I listen to Crank Yankers on the way to work and school- it makes me happy the entire day. Just remember...He who angers you- controls you. You are the one in control of your life.

Nope. I don't think so. But some people may have gene-coded personality traits that make them more prone to mood swings. Like me. ^-^ I'll be happy one minute then chasing down a classmate the next for putting carrots in my drinking water. And then trying to break down the door to the bathroom where they are hiding. But I get over it once I get revenge. ;) Other than that, I try to see only the postive in thing that happen to me. ^-^

They have just learned the "lesson", quicker than you or I. Theres not a darn thing we can do about it, the only people who suffer from our anger are you and I. Guess we had better learn to "don't sweat the small stuff, even when its huge to us", coz nobody cares!!!!!!!!!!!!! Besides, some people are sick and will try to trip us up if they know they can, and how do they know they can? Because we let them know by acting PISSED!! Doesn't that just piss you off?

Getting over flashes of fury is a blessing; some people smolder with anger for years!

The trick to not letting anything bother you is, often, *appearing* not to be bothered. It's entirely possible to smile and nod while thinking all sorts of unprintable things!

Big hug!

Yes, I think that temper and things of that nature are passed down from your parents. I too have gotten this anger gene. Hang in there.

I can relate because my boyfriend is so calm, mellow, and he never gets mad adn if he does its last like a whole ten min. so i think that it is all in how you take things. i am the kind of person who has alot of emotions and i always let them out whereas my b/f his mood always stays happy. so go-figure.lol
