When you are pregnant can you have a miscarriage anytime? Or is it from a certain month to another certain month? I hae heard it from like the first day you conceive up to about 4 months.. and then after that the baby comes out early. Is this true?? I am asking this becuz my Mom just found out she was preg. and all I have been thinking about is her having a miscarriage and I just want to know..? So, thank you if you answer it!

The chances of a miscarraige are greater in the beginning of a pregnancy, and the longer you carry the baby, the less chance of suffering a miscarriage.... if you are concerned , talk with your mom and your doctor....

Congratulations!

If there is a heartbeat detected by Doppler, which can be as early as 8-10 weeks, the chances of a miscarriage plummet dramatically. After 24 weeks, a lost pregnancy is then considered a stillbirth rather than a miscarriage, but this is more rare than early pregnancy miscarriage. Also the chances of giving birth to a live baby this late in the pregnancy has a better chance of making it due to medical advances. I say relax, don't worry about it, and maybe your Mom will take you with her to her doctor's appointment so you can hear the heartbeat to put your mind at ease.

Congrats to your Mom and good luck, dear!

You can miscarry at anytime, it's been said that after about 14 weeks your chances diminish significantly, but I had one at 16 weeks in Jan of this year. If you make to the point of viability, which is typically around 24 weeks then it's considered a pre-term birth. Don't worry, I'm sure your step-mom will be fine! :)

the first few months are the most important
and things should be a little better from then on
you just be a loving daughter and help mum around the house and with any lifting etc
try not to worry because mum is probably healthy and fine to carry a baby
and look forward to a new baby brother or sister coming xxx
