Yes, i believe it is bad luck. ive always heard that so i dont know any better. I never leave my purse on th ground.

goooood grief. I never heard that one before. All I know is that over my lifetime I have broken a lot of mirrors, walked under plenty of ladders walked on the cracks in the pavement, spilt salt, and well I forget them all. I've lived a great life. I don't even know where a lot of these superstitions originated. You can argue all day long about "Friday 13th" and tell anecdotal stories about something bad that happened to you or somebody you know on one of those days. So what? How about how many of the six and a half billion people currently inhabiting this planet 1) had terrible things happen to them all the other days of their life, or 2) those who had phenominal good fortune on that "unlucky" day? I betcha they are more plentiful than those who think something bad happened just because it was Friday 13th. Leaving your p urse on the floor unlucky? LOLOL gee, maybe if you paid $200 for some designer bag and someone c ame along and s crunched it underfoot. Ouch, I can feel the pain of that one.

No, I actually never heard of that. But I would not leave my purse on the floor simply because it will make my purse dirty.

I am not sure about this one, yes I have heard it mostly the older women say that and believe it as well, but as for myself.well, I do not carry a purse too much but, when I do I try not to put it on the floor, but, sometimes I forget when I am in the car, but does the floor of the car counts as well?........................

lol...I have never left my purse on the floor....I was born on Friday the 13th I know allot of those funny superstitions.

I don't carry a purse
but don't live your life on superstition
It will drive you crazy
and you actually jinx yourself in your unconscious belief !
