well, as you know pH scale ranges from bases to acids (in the middle -7- neutral) so, this can be very helpful in medicine and science... this is because the stronger (ACID) on the scale, the more it could possibly help to fight and prevent things such as hydrogen peroxide and infections: hydrogen peroxide coats the wound and causes a chemical reaction to prevent an infection...

It keeps things in balance. People need an alkaline ph (7) not acidic. If it is acidic, our ammune system can't function properly, leading to illness and disease. All living things need a proper balance to thrive.
