A lot worse, at least for me. If I was completely honest with people, I'd probably lose my job, along with other negative results.

I think the world would definately be a better place. It doesn't help someone if you tell them a lie.It causes guilt, distrust, anger , pain, and affects the liar and the lie-ee? in a negative way. Even concerning white lies, if your wife asks if you like her hair, dress, etc.you can always be honest by saying "I really like it longer " or "I like the blue one better", and still be nice. And if the boss asks why you were late again, a refreshingly honest answer like "I woke up late but I am going to do my best to get here on time from now on" would probably set well. I don't remember telling any white lies for awhile.I remember my son's girlfriend asking me if I thought she was a good singer. I said that she was better than most, which was a lie. But she was so cute!

I think people tell more white lies than we all realize. Gee I don't know if total honesty would be such a good thing, some lies are actually good..... but then where do we draw the line between a good and bad lie?

Life wouldn't be that much different. People would tell the truth, but most people don't know what they're talking about anyway. Either way, the information is wrong.
