Heck ya!!!! I'd pay that ticket without a blink!!!!!
But wait a minute:
Is this ticket fare one way only???
Do I get a discount for coach????
Does the price include earphones or at least goggles for the sunlight???
Do I get a full meal or a crappy sandwich and soda???
And finally, do I have to go through Homeland Security checkpoints????

Okay this is a pretty funny question. Lets see... The first minute might be interesting (cuz.. hey cool..I'm on the moon) then you'd have nothing to do but stare at dust craters. I'd rather go to Detroit.
Now if by chance they had built some awesome resort, on the moon with live entertainment and gambling, yeah.. I'd spend the 1000 bucks.

If it were like Star Trek - where you didn't have to be (all that) in shape, and no physical training, and decent food, and no chance of blowing up - sure, I'd pay $1000 to go to the Moon. But not until then.

no, whats worthwhile on the moon? just a bunch of rocks, and yaknow the chance your space helmet will break and you get your face sucked into space.
