IF SOMEONE DIES OF SOMETHING FIXABLE LIKE ROOM RUNNING OUT OF AIR AND ASFIXIATES. AFTER BEING DEAD FOR A FEW HOURS, CAN SCIENTISTS REVIVE THIS PERSON BY RESTARTING HIS HEART AND WITH AN AIR TUBE. SEEMS WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO REVIVE PEOPLE ONCE THEY ARE FIXED. AND THEIR SOULS SHOULD RETURN, NO? IS THIS PROOF THERE IS A SOUL?

No, this is not possible. After 4-6 minutes w/o oxygen, there is permanent damage to the human brain. After ten minutes, there is usually no hope of resuscitating a person who is in respiratory and cardiac arrest. Resuscitating a person who has been "dead for a few hours" would be completely out of the realm of possibility, whether you intubated (the air tube) the corpse or not. Death at that point, is not "fixable". Sorry.

In Haiti there is the belief that the dead can revive, it seems that the witch gave the victim one pocim that puts them on a catatonic state. then after they are buried they became slaves of the witch living dead. This does not prove anything but the herbal knowledge of some people. In the real world there are only few minutes to resuscitate a person, not more than 10 minutes in normal conditions and more with freezing temperatures. Scientists discuss a lot about after death experiences they say that the tunnel view for example is the excitation of some neurones in the optical zone of the brain. It will be many years that we will be only by faith believing in the soul.

nope.

You might be able to catch someone if they are already in an ER or ambulance if their heart stopped beating for a few seconds. You have a matter of MINUTES - something like 4 minutes of no oxygen before brain damage starts to occur, and 10 minutes before the brain is dead. It's not a matter of putting oxygen back in and forcing the heart to beat. Once the brain is starved of oxygen and it dies, you can't revive the brain.

What is the question here? Are we asking 'If the soul could return after someone is brought back to life then does the soul exist?'? Clearly, it begs the deeper question, 'Does the soul even exist?'.
But as the question is stated, we are assuming that the soul exists. So, the answer to this question is 'Yes' since every statement, once assumed to be true, implies itself to be true. This is just basic propositional logic. But this does answer whether the soul exists or not.

yes you can revive the dead and do it without medicine and doctors. Jesus said that after He went home to be with His Father, that with just the faith of a mustard seed we can move mountains, and with greater faith, would do greater works than He did in His life. He called Lazurus back out of the grave after he had been dead for three days. If we are to do greater works than Jesus, Why can't we bring the dead back to life? It's all a matter of how much faith you have.

No. There is only a very short time to revive a person. The brain dies very quickly.

No, you can't. If you could...the damage to the brain would be too much. When your brain goes without oxygen for that long, it's not able to tell your organs to function properly. Your heart won't pump on it's own etc..

Personally... no I can't bring anyone back... then again I've never tried...

But... as for science... I'm not sure they can either. Going too long without oxygen can cause brain damage. So even if they could bring them back chances are they'd be a vegtable, and well... that's no fun!

Er no, once you are dead the brain ceases to function and cannot be revived.
