Try Neosporin CREAM not Ointment, it has a pain reliever in it, I put it on insect bites and it soothes, you can also try gold bond medicated cream with menthol in it.

From the day I found out I was pregnant, I've been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E Itch Spray. I don't have any stretch marks yet (knock on wood) and I'm 6 months and a week pregnant.
After I take a shower, I spray my whole torso while it's still wet. I let it soak into my body for a few minutes (I do other things like put lotion on my legs or clean my ears.) I then take a dry wash cloth and pat dry where I've sprayed. I do this 1-2 times daily. My belly is always soft and never dry. I totally recommend this!!!
Good luck and STOP SCRATCHING!!! :)

I used the Johnson and Johnson soft touch lotion or the cream lotion from Bath and Bodyworks. They seemed to relieve the itching the best. If you are prone to stretch marks (from your genetics) then there isn't much you can do about keeping them away.

The reason your belly is itching is bacause your skin is stretching at a rapid rate and your skin is dry. I bet you didn't know that if you used plain ole' vaseline to rub your stomach down that you wouldn't have any stretch marks what so ever! I used 100% cocoa butter and of course vaseline. anything to lube your belly!

I was told if you scratch it you will end up with a nice road map! LOL I DON'T know if that is true or not I have had 2 babies and one on the way and SO FAR SO GOOD! I am sorry I haven't found anything good for the itch yet as well.

I never really found anything that worked either...unfortunately. Luckily you don't have much more to go...but I for sure feel for ya, sometimes I itched sooo bad that I would cry and sometimes I even made my skin scab. The only thing that helped somewhat was anti-itch ointment. Good luck and congratulations!!

The reason your stomach itches is BECAUSE your skin is stretching... USE LOTS OF COCOA BUTTER!!!! Palmers is the best you can get it at Wal-mart. And DONT scratch because its going to make them worse. When you itch slather that cocoa butter on there and it will feel better in no time!
