As you know, Bush has had our troop in Iraq for quite some time. October is the most deadly month, and we already got Saudam out!(i dont know how to spell his name) But the Iraqies want us to stay there because they don't feel secure with all these car bombings, etc. I thikn that Ameica should get out, countless American familes are reciveing the dreadful letter that their family member has died. We did our job, we don't need more blood to be shed...

I am only twelve, so if you don't think I am greatly informed, that is why. I am not as up-to-date because of homework. I only watch the news for about 15 minutes a day or read the paper for that long, or get any acess to any media. The main way i get information which is for half-an-hour is classroom desscusions...

No, many soldiers are dying like flies. It's pointless to be there in the first place, "weapons of mass destruction" there wasn't any, "Saddam is a big threat to the country of Iraq" can't prove that either. This war is about the greed of oil and the arrogance of other people's lives in stake, it will be everending, and I agree with you we don't need no more blood to be shed......

Obviously, you are very uninformed. First of all, its Saddam. Second, the Iraqies DON'T want us in their country, they never invited us. Some are attacking troops because soldiers are attacking their families and destroying their homes, so they want revenge. I don't think its fair for some random soldiers from a foriegn country to come to my home and scare me to death. I agree that America should leave Iraq because we are wasting so much money and so much time.... for what? The U.S. already has enough problems, and we should help our own country before we get into other countries.

I think we can all agree to disagree on whether we should have gone over to Iraq in the first place. But now that we are there, we would cause more harm if we were to just pack up and leave. Its going to take some time. I think they need to put together a better timelime though, so we can make progress on getting out.

we are caught in a really bad position because
1. if we completly withdraw iraq will ve in turmoil for a will then terrorits will take over and we'll be right back at square 1. We will also face a lot of criticism for just leaving iraq and ever going in in the first place.
OR
2.We stay in iraq and face years of struggle and thousands more dead soldiers and civillians and mayb even a full scale civil war
either way sucks thanks a lot mr president

There are two ways to answer this question.
If we stay there, I think Bush would just be on the prowl for oil. He may cover it up as "watching for the safety of the Iraqis".
I think we should leave. Staying there is just causing more lives to be lost and even more to be put in danger. Our military forces should only og to another country to defend our country, not to defend another country against suicide bombings.
My personal opinion.

I could be wrong but I think I heard bush say on the radio last week that this has turned into another Vietnam.
Why did he not listen to his Generals who told him this months ago?
At this point bush doesn't know how we're going to get out of this mess.
Many more of our young men and women are going to lose their lives before he figures it out.

Yes, we should stay in Iraq. We started a job and we need to finnish that job. This may be the most unpopular question, but it's the truth. If we don't, we and the Iraqis will have tremendous problems. Lord help them.

His name is spelt Saddam Hussein and liberating Iraq from him and his dreadful crew was a courageous act by Bush. The occupation has gone badly - in large part due to Western fear of casualties - but we have to stay. Or we give heart to every terrorist and fascist in their efforts to make us their slaves. Sometimes there is no choice but to fight.

I think we need to tell the Iraquis we're getting out by such and such date, and stop sending troops over. We need to start pulling people back, slowly.

No, we shouldn't have been there to start with. I say we get out of Iraq, get looking for Osama Bin Laden, find him, and then get on with life.
