The reviews I read were inspiring but I'd rather hear from someone who has one or know of someone who does. Also if you don't mind what do you think of the looks? Thanks alot for your input. What does it matter what we think ? It's down to YOU -- if you like it and it's got good action, why look elsewhere ? It looks great to me -- If I didn't already have a Takamine, I'd fancy it myself.

Personally, I don't like the look of this particular model, but Takamine is the best in my book!
***correction: I do like the way it looks. Realize my resolution made the rosette look like abalone or mother of pearl, but it's not. It's classic TK!
I had a Takamine F-385A for a while and I mourn its loss...have never been able to replace it.

not really but takamine is a great brand of guitar.
Get it if its in the $100-$300 price range
