Oh boy tell me about it I woke up yesterday and I had the worst pressure in my head and I was coughing up stuff. sore throat....YUK....If this sounds like you, then do what I did steamy hot bath soak up all the steam. For the pressure between my eyes I knew I had sinusitis - inflsmmstion w/in the sinuses. Had it too many times along w/ allergies.
If my nose is ever stuffy and can't breathe through my nose I rub Vicks vapo rup on chest and back and on the tip of your nose, not inside but completely outlining the nose
the tip. I also bought TYLENOL COUGH AND SORE THROAT NIGHT TIME - It can be used for:
- sore throat
- body aches
- headache
- cough
- runny nose
says with instant cool burst sensation

There is MUNISECK that is suppose to be real good people say. But if you have my symproms then you should use those three things, zicam, tylenol for sore throat, and the steamy bath and vicks vapo rub
Also use the new no drip seasonal allergy relief non - drowsy ZICAM, they also have AFRIN with several to choose from depending on your symptoms - I would not use Afrin myself, it's been proven to be addictive. Don't use both, zicam and afrin together, It's ONE OR THE OTHER. They sell vitamin - C bottles - the pills are 1,000mg and lower doses as well. I suggest taking equal to 1,000mg in the morning and at night. Or you can drink several glasses of orange juice DON'T FORGET WATER, WATER, WATER ALOT OF IT.. I am already feeling better today. If you have trouble in the mornings coughing up phlegm due to allergies and sinus problems, but have a hard time doing so, you can gargle hot, hot water, as hot as you can stand it that also loosens things up a bit. But seriously - the vapo-rub in the node really works, as well as carmex, but
vapo-rub is better. Hope this helps

Last time I checked, there's still no cure for the common cold, especially not one that takes just one day. My special remedy, though, is DayQuil in the daytime, NyQuil at night, plenty of rest whenever I can, and good old fashioned chicken soup. Also, if you smear zinc oxide ointment on your nose, the redness will go away a lot quicker and help you breathe better at the same time. You will look stupid, though. It's a trade-off.

no real quick one day cure, but I take a zinc pill at the first sign of a cold. It really helps me pretty fast!

The quickest relief I have ever gotten from a cold, I got from Zicam nasal swabs. It is basically a zinc preparation and zinc blocks viral replication. It will shorten your cold, but there is no one day cure for the common cold.

You can take L-Lysine. It is to be had over-the-counter at so much pharmacies. My husband is taking it for a bloodless sore correct now. If you do not capture the bloodless sore in the beginning tingle, it'll take longer to eliminate, however with the L- Lysine the bloodless sore may not be almost as extreme. My husband takes one one thousand mg. pill consistent with day. Hope this is helping.
