Yes, soda (of any kind) sucks some of the calcium out of your bones... it's the carbonation that does it... the more of it you drink the greater your risk of esteoporosis, broken bones, etc. If you're going to drink soda, make sure you drink that much milk (or eat yogurt or anything with calcium in it) to make up for it. Also make sure the milk or whatever is fortified with vitamin D or you eat something with vitamin D in it too, that is what helps your body be able to absorb the calcium.

Like they say "Everything in moderation". Take some good things to make up for it, and don't have it every day, make it a special treat as a reward for something you've done that needs a pat on the head.
I like mine with a bit of Vodka, in fact, the coke may be worse than the vodka.

Lets face it coke is bad. But what isn't, I'm fed up with all this, that food causes that and, this food causes this. So what.
We'd never eat at all if we new everything. It's turning everyone into dietary freaks and Hypochondriacs.

FACT - We all no whats good and bad and at the end of the day its up to you what you put in your body.

If you drink enough coke you'll be too worried about your rotten teeth and ulcerated stomach to notice the thin bones. Everything in moderation - try to find something else to drink - fresh juice or water. xx

Drinking coke or any sugar loaded beverages are bad for everyone. Stick with water, a gallon a day, it's all you need.
