Do or no Do that is thy question, but either way he washed off the alleged substance, and the St Louis Cardinals couldn't hit him, just like the other 23rd consecutive innings in which no-one has been able to score a run off him during this post-season.
So any substance or question of cheating was only picked up during one innings of 23 innings and I dont think Mr Kenny Rogers needed it as he has show he can sing with the baseball and dance all over best hitters in the league.
So look at the facts and and substance was removed and didnt effect his performance. It St Louis who looks like they may need to cheat to get back in this Seires? I can see that from Australia mate

There sure is a lot of hate on Yahoo! Answers. Mostly from Tigers fans. They seem to be on the defensive. Is it because Rogers did have a "foreign substance" on his hand? I think so. The guilty come out swinging and saying stupid crap like "it was dirt" and "the umps decided it wasn't anything illegal so it's okay". What a load of crap! Rogers pitched one hell of a game, but he did have something on his hand. Had the umpires done a better job, he would have been ejected and I doubt the Tigers would have won after losing their old star pitcher. Way to go Tigers you did win! Tigers fans....shut the hell up! GO CARDS!

He surely did. Furthermore, after "washing" his hand, he had discolorization on his cap. Looks like he simply moved the substance to another area he could get to. Worst pitcher in post season history turn in to Sandy Koufax?? Come on now! Yanks and A's got screwed, but now the cat is out of the bag. He will certainly be "searched" if he gets another start

No. He had a foreign substance on it, and that would be domestic.
