I cant say I hate Kenny but I do despise the fact that he took away something that used to be PURE entertainment....... Some of the people on here need to TAKE OFF THE BLINDERS, and as far as the question about the following innings, the pine tar RESIDUE left on the backside of his cap is still There for the ENTIRE GAME, all it takes is a light touch with the tip of his fingers and he is good to go...

If in fact it was pine tar, why would he have put it on his throwing hand? As a pitcher that is probably the most visible part on your body especially in a game of this calliber. Slow motion and all that everyone is always looking at the ball and how the pitcher releases it. It is silly to think he would have put something on his throwing hand.

That's rubbish. Even if he had some pine tar on the palm of his hand it wouldn't affect anything but his grip on the ball because it wasn't all that much. Besides, the ump checks the balls for foreign substances.
Let it go and you'll sleep better. Kenny Rogers is a great pitcher and the Cards just got beat by a superior ball player.

definite. while you're implying that he cheated for the ALCS and ALDS, think approximately that the Tigers gained interest 3 of the ALDS 7-0, meaning that the Tigers might have gained that interest, inspite of what's on Kenny Rogers hand. And for interest 3 of the ALDS, the margin replaced into much less, yet in spite of in case you provide that interest to the Athletics, the Tigers may be up 3-a million after 4 video games, and maximum possibly might have gained that sequence in any case.

Don't be an idiot, if it was pine tar he would have been thrown out of the game. How do you explain the next 7 innings he pitched?

Whether he did or didnt he pitched a hell of a game after he washed it off, whatever it was clearly was not the only reason he won
