I know my family isnt normal but ive got to no if something im about to do is going to **** up my life my mom has sucky taste there's always a new guy of the week but the one she happens to love is a asshole he hits my 16 year old stepbrother in front of me im 15 hes an alcoholic and i know hitting your kid is spose to be a gray area but i new it was messed up when he would beat on him for no reason my mom was kinda like the neighbor you saw everyday but didnt bother to talk to she never hit me i was never an obedient kid and can you blame me for hating this guy so a couple hours ago i spilt his beer, i coulda stabbed him and he wouldnt have looked up but his beer was something else when he told me to pick it up i told him to lick it off the floor bad move on my part so he hit me in the same way he hits corey no one was home and i looked like i got hit by a truck when he finished so when corey figured out wat happened we made a plan to dtrak the car and leave state tomorow good or bad?

Call a guardian or family member you can trust. Contact the Samaritans or some other teen hotline for advice. Social Services may get involved and take you and your bro away to a foster family if thats what you want (To get away form home). But running away is not the answer. Especially if it means stealing the car or something.

Well, that is not a good idea. For one thing, you probably do not have money, and that means money for food and gas. Where are you going?
I would go to the Police and tell them you are afraid, and if you still have the bruises, show them. They will remove you from the home, and also arrest him probably. He is dangerous, and can get even worse. I do not know what state you live in, but in New Mexico a man had his boys and was on drugs, and killed one of them. It was horrible. So, the only way you can safely get out of there, is to go through the authorities. Your mom could turn you in as run aways, and they will just drag you back to your mom and monster boyfriend. If you really want out of there, then do it right. Once you leave, take some things, or they will escort you back to get your things, but never go back to that house again. Even if you have to stay with friends, but if you do not get the Police on your side, they can easily be on their side, your word against theirs, so if you have the bruises this is the time to go. Go now, you will either pick up something to defend yourself, and do him in, or he might do you in, in other words, you must get out before any of that happens, and going out on your own will expose you to the dangers out on the roads, never do that. God bless you, and go and never look back.

Bad idea, because when you get caught you will be sent back home and in worse trouble. Can you talk to anyone? Another family member or soemone at school? If you steal the car you are looking at juvenile hall or even in some states jail, if you talk to someone then at least they can't file unruly delinquent charges on you and get away with hitting you guys. If you have to call the police or the kids hotline and tell them you are being hit by your mom's a**hole bf and you can't take it anymore. Good Luck.

im sorry for what is happening to u and ur stepbrother.... dont runaway why u leave go to a friends house or family member's house. what u need to do is go to the cops he shouldnt be hitting u like that over a damn beer!!!! u and ur stepbrother need to tell someone what is going on in ur house!!!! what is next time he hits u or corey that he could beat ya to death!!!! get out while u can!!!

speak 2 ur mom about the situation if she does nothing then u r entitled to take some action of ur own but dont do anything stupid like kill the guy or anything u guys could stay over at a friends or relatives house or something everything should work out out once u guys are safe

what you do is spill his beer again and have your brother waiting with the shot gun when he start beating you or your brofther shot his *** then tell your mother your not going to tolerate her poor choice in men any longer. by this time your mother won't know what to do. you get in the news do some time get out won't have to put up with your mother cause you'll be in foster care. You'll have all the resources of the state at your disposle. Why run!

You need to report this abuse and get you and your step brother out of this situation as quickly as possible. Call a child hotline, it's usually annonymous.

Have you talked to your mom? If you haven't you should. If you have and she hasn't done anything, tell someone else who might be able to help. I'll pray for you.

I would go to the authorities,and, if you have marks, i would get them photographed to have it on record. Get the A-H charged for what he is doing, don't let him get away with it by running away!!!
