my neighbors' pony just had a little colt. hes a gray shetland pony and they r asking me 2 help name him! HE'S SOOOOOOOOO CUTE AND SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SWEET!!!!!!!! he seems to like eating and sleeping, but he deserves something noble considering his breeding. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Well, going by his personality is always a good start. My horse's name is Spunky, because she knows when its time to be clam and quiet, but as soon as she sees a barrel or feels the reigns tighten up, she knows that its time to give it all she's got.
However, if you are going by his breeding, and want a noble name, then you could look at the names of greek gods. For example, Zuse, Aries, or maybe even Artemus, which can be a male or female name.

Tristan, Alexander, or Jeremiah are good too.
I had a pony named Zip, but she was slow, and a horse named Dusty!

I've always liked the names Sultan and Rajah, but they seem a bit fearsome for a shetland, though it would add a bit of a comical touch. I'd suggest a name that's something along the lines of Deamer. Just a suggestion.
