my husband has a lump in his lower pelvic area and it hurts? what could it be

Lump and alot of pain on right side above penis, lump can be pushed in but it hurts, any ideas of what it could be

More than likely an inguinal hernia. I actually have the exact same thing right now and thats what my doc said.
