& when you click on their screen names to respond to them directly or see if they've got a 360-- they don't have an email option?

The third point is the most important! There are some women that look absolutely extraordinary - but they hardly ever have a 360 page so you can't perv - and the picture they have is too small to get much out of it. A few days I asked a question from a woman I thought was hot from what she was saying - there was no picture this time - and I flirted with her. When I found she had a 360 page I immediately clicked on it thinking "here we go!", only to see pictures of a cross between Frankenstein and Fatty Arbuckle. I immediately had a shower, but I'll never feel clean again!

I've inadvertently ticked off a few people and they have exercised my email option. Boy, there are sure some angry people out there! So, after I get blasted, I shut my email off for a while to recover. Maybe that is what is occurring in your instance. Check again with the "hot chick" later. Good luck.

I have the email option, and I usually hate it when people email me little smiley faces(how am I supposed to respond to that, why bother to send someone that?) Or, I'll get a rude or extremely perverted email from guys that want to meet up for sex. Don't normal people ever use the email option!?

I can't say that I hate it really, but it could be a tad frustrating for some I suppose. Do they have IM option? If so, ya never know, so go ahead and leave an offliner if it shows that they're not on currently.

No.....it is the way of life..and some things are simply out of my control...this being one of them....oh well.....though i enjoy the opportunity to occasionally email someone and that is a bit frustrating....but as i say...life goes on...perhaps they don't want to be contacted or haven't figured that part out yet.
I mean isn't the reason we or they have avatars is to conclude the likeness of someone? i would rather see what the real person looks like quite frankly.....however I understand and your point is well taken.....I am not the jealous type. not saying that you are, people think and decipher differently.
if everyone thought like me, life would be pretty boring....THAT i know to be true.

No it doesn't bother me. I turn mine off and on all the time. One reason people do it is spam mail. I get blank messages or links. It's crazy at times

Oh man, i hate it when a answer is totally answered like wrong...it buggs me so much...and by how they like..spell. lol. I hate it. But when they are SO right...i hate to see it....cuz i know its the truth...i just hate to hear it.
