To me, I just really feel like celebrities, ok, SOME celebrities adopt kids like their puppies or something. What are your views on adoption from poverty stricken countries?

The father of David apparently said Maddona is giving him a home and chance of a good life, where were all these do-gooders ( that think it's wrong ) when his mother died and he needed milk. Maybe Maddona is using her money and fame but she's using it for good not evil. I say leave her alone to get on with it.

She is giving this child a chance that he may not have had. I hardly think that she would adopt a child as a publicity stunt. It is a lifelong commitment and she has already shown that she can be a good mother with her two other children.
As for where he came from (foreign country rather than England), what does it matter? One more child is helped that would otherwise have had a difficult life.

WHO CARES who she adopts??? What business is it to us? What does her being a celeb have to do with it? Celebe should not adopt poverty stricken children? But regular people can? That's stupid.
I mean she is giving a child of poverty a real chance!

I think in the long run he is better off but why does she get adopt a child before anyone else.

I find it interesting that she's adopting a child that, in his country, is illegal for foreigners to adopt them. The country is willing to ignore the law for her, but why doesn't she care that its illegal? I think its a great thing that she is doing, but I fear it might be for selfish reasons.

I think there are enough kids who need adopting in the US that Americans should be adopting American babies first.

I don't think she deserves to have an adopted baby. She shows a terrible example.

I hope she did it as a charitable gesture and with love for the child, however, i don't believe she is fit to be the mother of any child. Her lifestyle will have to change for her to be Worthy of mothering a child.
