Yes i know witchcraft, "some spells" is too vague for an answer... if you want a book of spells Patrica Telesco has several out one of which is called "spinning spells & weaving wonders" but it is highly unlikely that you will have any measure of success.

In order to do successful spell work, you have to master a few basic techniques, like grounding & centering learn about it here... http://www.robinwood.com/livingtreegrove...

Next you need to have a working knowledge of the witches’ pyramid & how it works learn about it here

http://www.angelfire.com/realm2/amethyst...

Next you need to understand and practice energy raising & direction there are several methods in which this can be accomplished, through chanting, drumming, ecstatic dancing etc... Spells do not work if they are not empowered by your energy.

next you need to understand the elements of ritual construction, spell work is done in sacred space, if you don’t know how to make sacred space you should not attempt spell work

Next you have to understand all of the ethical considerations in performing magic, and decide on the paradigm in which you will be working... for example wiccan ethics include a "harm none” clause in their spell work. Not all paths include this caveat, but be aware just because you are not wiccan and don't "follow the rede" that there won't be consequences for your actions. Anyone with a working knowledge of magic & how it works understands the "ripple effect" or reciprocity.

Then you need to learn about planetary hours, moon phases, timing on the wheel of the year, correspondences of herbs, stones, candles, colors, poppets, runes, sigils, tarot cards, or whatever "props" you wish to include in your spell work.

once you have these techniques/concepts down, you will be likely to have marginal sucess in you magical endevours

Don’t forget to journal your lessons, and attempts, so that you can learn from your mistakes

Best of luck seeker

Witchcraft isn't something you "play" with, nor is it something that you can just "do". It takes years of dedicated practice and learning. The witch's "Book of Shadows" is a closely guarded secret usually, where they log anything they find along the way. Remember, too, that spells are essentially "affirmations" or "prayers" and the *intent* in using spells is as important as learning the *proper* methods in witchcraft. The Thirteenth Rede states: "An ye harm none, do as ye will."

I am a pagan and I know witchcraft, but witchcraft isn't for playing. If you are interested in pursuing a pagan path you should visit some websites on paganism.

It is dangerous to dabble. Engaging in spells and mystical work will likely attract attention to you from the ethers that can frighten or worse. Again, do not dabble. Research and if you feel uncomfortable about anything in the arts, do not pursue it at that time.

I'm a witch, yes I know spells, no I won't tell you over the net or over the phone. You need to design your own spells. If you use the ones from another witch, they probably won't work. They need to come from the heart, not spoonfed.

Place a pinch of salt on the tail feathers of nuisance birds living around your house. You will be surprised how well it works. Tell your friends too.
