The field of scientific study involving unique, rare, recently found, and not-yet found forms of animal life. Such as the yeti, sasquatch, el chupacabra, werewolves, and that nwe Cyprus mouse.

Cryptozoology is the study of animals that are rumored to exist, but for which conclusive proof is still missing; the term also includes the study of animals generally considered extinct, but which are still occasionally reported. Have a great day!

Cryptozoology-the study of and search for animal and especially legendary animals (as Sasquatch) usually in order to evaluate the possibility of their existence.

THis is the study of animals who are not yet verified by science and are usually considered to be myths or stories. An example is Big Foot or Loche Ness Monster. Category for this question if it exists is mythology. :)
