I just had an interview today with the manager at chick-fil-a; and i am going in for a follow up tomorrow. I think that are going to ask me what wage i want, and i don't know what to suggest. I used to get paid $9.00 an hour. Should i ask for the same amount now?

If you do work at chick-fil-a, what do you get paid? I think having a general idea of what they normally pay would greatly help me out.

If you don't work there, do you have a similar job? What do you get paid? Or is there anything that you can suggest to help me out? I am so bad at this- and i know it is a big deal. Asking too much is bad, but so is asking too little. Help?!?!

And i know that they don't like it when you say that you'll take whatever they give- not a good idea.
I want people to know that i value myself but am not arrogant or taking advantage.

I used to work at Chick-Fil-A during high school and college. I can't speak for all Chick-Fil-A's but most of the ones I've been to have an excellent work environment. I got raises often but only ended up making $8 an hour. I originally asked for higher because that's what I was making at another job. If your Chick-Fil-A is like mine, the manager will take your wage suggestion into consideration but will ultimately choose their own number for how much you'll be making an hour.

Most Chick-fil-a places that I've been to have a sign that tells people what to expect. If you are part-time, they'll probably pay you up to $10 per hour. If you are full-time, you might be able to get $12 per hour. All of this depends on the shift you work.
