Probably not any time soon.. the country is too divided to risk it.. some people would never vote for a woman president and that would let the republicans win again... The question I would have for Hilary is where were you all the time your husband was shipping our jobs overseas? why didn't you say anything when he allowed the news media to be controlled by about 6 corporations? Bill clinton was a republican pretending to be a democrat, the last thing he did was to humiliate the democratic party and now he is best skull and bones buddies with senior bush... I believe hilary will do and say anything to get elected and that she is also a republican pretending to be a democrat.
(I would vote for paris hilton over bush any day)

Yes. However, I don't believe there are currently any women capable of making a run at the presidency. I don't believe any prejudice would prevent a woman from being president, only divisiveness. For a woman to win, if she were a Democrat, she would have to be able to attract a good portion of moderates her way. Republicans are stubborn (not trying to be mean) and would brand many women as far left, woman's lib, female rights activists. I believe a minority will prevail before a woman.

What does it matter if the president is a woman or a man? Its their qualifications that count. This is all about equality amongst human beings. I'm certainly not going to put someone in office because they fit the mold of some minority group. If the person is qualified and I fell comfortable that they have the interest of the WHOLE united states, then and only then will I give it any consideration. Provided that they are conservative, pro military, anti-illegal and against affirmative action.

Maybe,If there's a good candidate for the job,not like here in Puerto Rico we had the first woman Governor in History, because she seemed like a good candidate, but once she was up there, she didn't do anything, she was the worst!! I can't believe it,because I was,so dissapointed. finally a woman got to be the governor, and felt proud that people left the machism behind and voted for her and then she goes and does nothing!!,but I still have hope in us women, one day we will be presidents of the US or in my case of Puerto Rico.

Right now, I think our country is ready for a change in policy, no matter what the gender of the president who implements it.

Perhaps, but not the two front-running democratic witches currently vying to reach into your wallet.
