Something cool, pirates are in this year, Harry Potter stuff is ALWAYS cool, but make Harry Potter stuff yourself, if your not into that, try death angels or something. Hope this helps.

Go to the costume stores near you. One of the newest things out is Paris Hilton. There are some mod vampire costumes that look nice, and a french maid costume can make someone look nice (not too spooky) and "hot".

Depends what image you want. If you want to go for the tasteful sultry yet still playful look i reccomend little red riding hood. Red skirt white peasant blouse and black corset. And of course the red cape and basket for the candy. If you are a little more conservative go for a geisha. Those are very popular and elegant and beautiful.
I personally think you are to old to trick or treat but hopefully these are helpful ideas.
