I hate the line that "Oh well, all politicians lie, Democrat and Republican". When Presidents, Republicans and Democrats make statements, in this day and age it is fairly easy to fact check with the Internet and all. Most people blog faster than the media and expose lies quite fast. Look at how fast the Dan Rather story on the President's National Guard record was proven to be a fake. I'm looking for any reference to the President saying that exact phrase, "Oil revenues will cover all the costs of the Iraqi invasion" no luck so far. I would say, verify, and fact check as much as you can.

The world lying record is 144 lies in 4 minutes. That was set by G.W.Bush in a Presidential Debate.

If Republicans agree with Democrats they are lying. I guess you have realized that liberals need to stop chanting about "blood for oil". You people need to have a meeting and figure out what your story is.

I agree with most of the President's policies from a pragmatic viewpoint, but come on, he's a politician. Party is irrelevant, most of them lie by rote. What the voter has to do is ignore this, and make a general choice on which philosophic approach is best for the country.

Pretty much unless the statement is something like "I am despicable parasite who will flush your money and your children's lives down the toilet for a golf trip and few grand in campaign donations." then they're lying.
