my ipod never charges and when i do charge it. it doesnt charge all the way. my ipod wont even let me play a whole song without saying low bat.

sounds like you've got a knackered battery. send it back if in warranty or get another one im afraid.

It's a defect that pretty much all ipods have. Mine work fine for about 6 months and then like yours it stopped charging. They sell a battery pack that you can plug into the bottom of the ipod. But it works on 4 AA batteries and it's big and bulky. Eventually I ended up getting rid of my ipod and buying a creative Zen wicth I love and have no problems with.
