I don't think so... to many ethnic backgrounds, languages, traditions, religions and politics.... the only entity that would bring the world together is a comon threat to all. Generally death related and effecting all nations caused by uncontrlable forces. Natural disasters etc. Many foreign services aided in new orleans after katrina, bringing nations closer. Thus, it is an aftermath that unites people rather then a thing or a pre caution. we are not smart enough to prevent yet...thus no reason to follow anything

No, we are basically on our own. Only our pre-disposition toward common sense and human compassion leads us in the right direction. Some people are just genetically pre-disposed to not be good, while other are able to contribute to the good of all mankind. Its a crap shoot.

There are no "enities" on this earth. Respectfully, an enity is a spirit; depending on your concepts of religion, that one "spirit/enity" is God.
