I took a digital pregnancy test yesterday mid day, and it read "Pregnant". This morning I took an old fashion -/+ stick test & this one said Negitive... I'm confused! Has anyone else experienced this??

I think you are probably pregnant- usually people can get a false negative not a false positive. I would get another test or 2. I took 3 tests, just to make sure.

I had this experience before & hope I can help. I took a test in the late afternoon one day & it came up Neg. I took one the following morning it was positive so I went to a somewhat of a planned parenthood & the lady took a urine sample. As we were waiting she informed me that the 1st urine of the day was the best time to take a test. It was right, I was pregnant. I can remember that day as if it were yesterday. I'm not sure how U would feel either way but if U need some support let me know. Good Luck

The digital tests are more accurate than the old fashion -/+ tests. The stick test isn't as sensitive and so I would believe the digital. You can go to the doctor and get a blood test. But I believe your first test can be believed! Congrats and Good Luck!

Amy S is correct! Congratulations, mommy! It is most likely that you are pregnant. It is more likely that it is a false negative than a false positive test. Thus the positive result is most likely to be the correct one.
Retest with first morning's urine as it contains the highest concentration of the 'pregnancy hormone' human chorionic gonadotropin (better known as hCG). And make an appt with your OB/GYN to start your prenatal care.

Yea it happened to me. I took 6 of them with my youngest son because 3 were neg and 3 were positive, some tests just dont work for people, I just kept taking them to see what would happen, i couldnt get into my dr. right away. some people also go through their pregnancies with neg results!! GOODLUCK and id assume you are pregnant so CONGRATS!!!

I am actually going through the same thing right now!! Its extremely confusing. I went to my doctor today and I am just waiting the results. I would def. recommend going to see your doctor or a health clinic to have a blood test.

The digital ones are better than the regular ones. Try a few more of these. I know I took about 10 of these and they all read positive. It still hasn't sunk in though,...lol......GOOD LUCK!!

If you think you're pregnant, do the test with the earliest morning urine, it's the strongest and if you still aren't sure go to the Doctor.

You have have done the second test incorrectly. Get another test and try again. Or go to the doctor and get a blood test.
