why did the player who bumped into peyton manning get penalized but the guy who speared ben roetheslisberger in the head not? are we gonna protect all the qb's or just the qb's with the most revenue potential?

Just Peyton. To quote a post in a topic (on a football message board I went to) about "what if other QBs had gotten in the motorcycle accident?"

If Peyton: After recovering and returning to football, the NFL would innitiate a new rule where no one can touch him and all he has to do is say his recievers name for it to count as a completion.

Unfortunately the refs make bad calls all the time....each NFL and any regular football game has a different set of refs to make calls....depending on their views and eyesight,judgments.....its all BS sometimes but its better than having a "free 4 all".....It would be crazy without them...anyways penalties are part of the game and so is bad calls...some go your way often times they don't...In this case that's what happened....Peytons been hit before without a penalty so and lets face it he releases the ball quickly and has a awesome line to protect him!!

you're one of those whiney steeler fans, aren't you? get over it, steeler fans are the LAST people who should be complaining about the refs, they GAVE you the super bowl last year.
