I buy tissues and paper towels instead and sometimes take it from the restrooms to bring home.
Is this normal?

Everyone buys toilet paper...including the person who sells you your tissues and paper towels. I'm not going to say "get over it" because it's obviously a problem for you. What you could try is when you go into the store, look at the toilet rolls, pick them up. Within a few visits i bet you put some in your trolley or basket. Just take things at your own pace. Everyone has at least one hang-up. Good luck

I always stand outside of stores and make fun of people that come out with toilet paper. I say stuff really loud so others can hear me like hey, buddy you plan on doing a lot of pooping or what? You know because the packages are so big an all. None of that is true, that would be rude. Try buying those flushable wipes in the baby aisle. They work a whole lot better too, like you just had a bum shower.

That's kind of strange, but I'm sure there are a lot of people who do that. It's normal for people to feel embarrassed about things like that. It may take time for you to get used to it, but you can overcome it gradually. Maybe you could go to a grocery store that you don't usually go to when you buy your toilet paper.

No it is not normal at all go buy some and change your behaviour
by putting it into the shopping trolley and acting like you just don't care. Or even get behind someone who has some too in their trolley. That way no one will ever notice. Put it straight into a bag and quickly walk out and take it home. If you get loads all at once then you won't have to go back for a while. Or get them to deliver

Nope. You need to get over that. Just put it in with lots of other groceries. The first time will feel most uncomfortable, and it will get easier after that.

And keep telling yourself that the store clerk is seriously NOT interested in what you're buying. Because they're really not! :)

That is something you need to get over! Everybody uses it. Nobody will notice, but you might get in trouble someday for stealing toilet paper. Believe me, nobody cares what you put in your shopping cart. Nobody even notices, except at the check out. Good luck getting over this.

No. It's not normal at all. Everyone uses toilet paper (I hope), so it shouldn't be embarrassing to buy toilet paper.
