Well, you can compress the video files easily.
To reduce the size of a video, you can
1. reduce the resolution
2. reduce the quality

If you convert it to *.3gp or *.rm
you can then easily mail em.

Rememeber, compressing to these means reducing the quality & resolution. The original file cannot be reproduced exactly from these files.

Zip it using your Zip program on your computer. There is another format called TAR or Tarballing the file. Anything up to 9 or 10 megabytes should email over okay depending on the constraints of the sender and receiver email systems. Limits now are usually around 10MB.

If that doesn't work you can edit the file with the free tools (or used to be free) Bink and Smacker from RadGame Tools: http://www.radgametools.com/

dvix pro is very good at video compression. you need to reduce the video size ie its dimension (not size on disc although that what will happen) and choose pretty low quality thresehold in order to be able to get it small enough to be viable to send via email.

Flash is a good alternative however this is considerably more expensive and without other need for the software a little over the top but if you had need for it for web design then this would provide a good option.

use a file transfer service or skype or ftp it would take you both hours to do it by e-mail that's 100-150 emails with sections of the file that have to be split up in one direction and re-assembled at the other in the correct order, far easier to write it to DVD or USB drive and post it, remember upload speeds are less than a quarter of download speeds that's why it's called Adsl

Try importing them into Windows Movie Maker, drag the clip onto the timeline, then save using one of the different quality levels... just an idea.
