My mother is diabetic and she urinates a lot the others are correct its just one of them things andf the age wont help i am affraid it will worsen as she gets older. Either that or because of age or having children some pressure in early life loosens the bladder muscle making you feel like you need to urinate more.

the older we get the weaker are bladders get. has she by any chance had a hysterectomy at an earlier age? if so her bladder could have fallen. it happens, a women who has had a hysterectomy should have there bladders checked every 10 years. detrol LA is a good med. for frequent urination.

Well i think a pregancy is not likely here.Perhaps she has a "urinary tract infection"..which is very common in women all ages,is she getting back ache too.Go to the doctor and get this cheked out.Meanwhile drink plenty of "cranberry juice".
p.-s:when we are cold we urinate,it stimulates our bladder.

I've heard that cranberry juice is only useful as a preventative method as far as urinary tract infections are concerned, and that it can worsen symptons if taken once already infected. Mind you, I'm not a doctor.
