what is the clear fluid inside the cell called??? is it cytosol??

It is called the cytoplasm and consists of cytosol and the cellular organelles, except the cell nucleus. The cytosol is made up of water, salts, organic molecules and many enzymes that catalyze reactions. The cytoplasm is seperated from the watery extracellular fluid, which is outside, by the plasma membrane. Each of the organelles performs a specific cellular function. They also have specialized proteins that provide an intracellular support system.
